You do not need the image of the cemetery for the first 3 questions.
1. Create a new RGB, 8 bit document that is 5 x 5 inches x 150 ppi. What size is the file in Megabytes?
2. Change the document to a Grayscale document. What size is the file now?
3. Close the above document without saving it.
Now Open the image of the cemetgery called image.exerc.resample.
4. What size is the entire file in Megabytes?
5. What are the width and height of the document in PIXEL DIMENSIONS?
6. The cemetery image is for a magazine article and will be printed 4 inches by 6 inches. The magazine needs a file sent to them, which is NO LARGER than 7 MB. Name all 4 of the available changes you can make to accommodate size requirements while still allowing for the highest possible quality print possible.
7. What size is the file in Megabytes after your changes?
8. Now, your editor needs to see a quick proof of the image, quality is not important as it will only be viewed on her computer. What should you do to change it before emailing it to her? What size is the file now?
